LANDU PEBA Pro is a flexible material (Polyether Block Amide) that can be regarded as a “Super TPU”. It is specially designed for applications that require high rebound capability (energy return), durability and lightness compared with conventional flexible materials.
Key performance features
“Super Bounce”: Unlike regular TPU, which absorbs impact, PEBA has a high rebound coefficient that gives it bounce and spring similar to a basketball.
Very good temperature resistance: Keeps its flexibility and impact resistance down to -40°C, where other elastic materials become brittle.
Lightweight: About 20% lighter than conventional TPU (density ~1.02 g/cm³), which makes it suitable for aerospace and wearable technology.
Outstanding durability: Very good resistance to fatigue and chemicals, and because it usually contains no plasticisers it does not become sticky over time.
Recommended print settings
Note: PEBA is highly hygroscopic and needs to be dried before printing (6–8 hours at 70°C) to prevent bubbles and stringing.
| Setting | Recommended value |
|---|---|
| Nozzle temperature | 240–260°C |
| Bed temperature | 45–70°C |
| Print speed | 30–120 mm/s (faster than many TPUs) |
| Extruder type | Direct Drive is required; Bowden systems usually do not work |
| Nozzle size | 0.4 mm for detail; 0.6 mm or larger for larger parts to avoid clogging |
