Spectrum Premium PCTG
An excellent alternative to PET-G
Spectrum Premium PCTG is a high-quality printing filament that is an excellent alternative to PET-G, one of the most popular materials in 3D printing. Since both materials belong to the same family of copolymers (copolyester), PCTG offers the same easy printing as PET-G, but with even better properties.
The main advantage of Spectrum Premium PCTG is much higher impact resistance, high dimensional stability and very low shrinkage. The material combines many of the best properties of Tough PLA and PET-G. It withstands heat up to 76°C (HDT), delivers an exceptionally beautiful surface and is more flexible than PET-G. In addition, PCTG has very good chemical resistance, which makes it suitable for demanding applications.
Transparent colours of Spectrum Premium PCTG also offer greater clarity than comparable PET-G filaments. With few outer layers it is therefore possible to achieve a very clear and almost transparent finish.
A closed or heated enclosure is not needed to print with this material.
