1.75 mm PLA Wood filament from Landu. What sets it apart from others is that it is dual-colour, so it changes colour, which makes it look more natural as timber when printing trees, furniture and so on.
Print settings for LANDU Dual Color Wood PLA

| Bed temperature | 50–60°C (55°C is a good starting point) |
| Print speed | 30–50 mm/s |
| First layer speed | 15–20 mm/s |
| Cooling fan | 100% after the first 2–3 layers |
| Layer height | 0.20 mm (0.28 mm for faster printing) |
| Nozzle | 0.4 mm minimum (0.6 mm is better if the material contains real wood fibres) |
Retraction
-
Direct Drive extruder: 0.8–1.5 mm
-
Bowden extruder: 3.5–5 mm
-
Retraction speed: 30–40 mm/s
Drying
If the filament has absorbed moisture:
-
50–55°C for 4–6 hours before printing.
For the best dual-colour effect
Since this is a dual-colour filament:
-
Print objects with curved or multi-faceted surfaces.
-
Rotate the model so that both colours of the filament are clearly visible.
-
Keep the outer wall speed constant to prevent the filament from twisting, as this can change how the colours appear.
If you use a Bambu Lab printer
A good starting profile is:
-
Material: Generic PLA
-
Nozzle temperature: 210°C
-
Bed temperature: 55°C
-
Outer wall speed: 40–60 mm/s
-
Print mode: Silent or Standard for the best-looking finish.
